Hi @vikas109

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for laying that out clearly—when your HP system is slow, Bluetooth isn’t working, and the battery won’t charge (especially after a driver error), it’s likely a combination of missing chipset drivers, power management issues, and possibly a corrupted Bluetooth stack

Let’s walk through a structured recovery:

Step-by-Step Fix for Performance, Bluetooth & Battery Issues

1. Run HP PC Hardware Diagnostics

  • Restart your system and press Esc repeatedly → then F2
  • Run:
    • System Test → Extensive Test
    • Battery Test
    • Bluetooth Test (if available)

This will confirm whether the battery or Bluetooth module is physically failing or just misconfigured.

2. Update BIOS and Chipset Drivers

Missing or outdated firmware can cause all three symptoms.

  • Visit HP’s Battery & Adapter Troubleshooting Guide
  • Enter your exact model number
  • Download and install:
    • Latest BIOS update
    • Chipset driver
    • Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) (if listed)
    • Bluetooth driver (Intel, Realtek, or Qualcomm depending on your system)

Install BIOS updates with only the charger connected—no peripherals.

3. Reset Power Management Settings

  • Open Device Manager
  • Expand Battery → Right-click Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery → Uninstall
  • Reboot—Windows will reinstall it automatically

This resets battery detection and charging logic.

4. Fix Bluetooth Stack

  • In Device Manager:
    • Expand Bluetooth
    • Uninstall all listed Bluetooth devices and drivers
  • Reboot
  • Reinstall the correct driver from HP’s support page

If Bluetooth still fails, disable Bluetooth LE Enumerator—this often interferes with headset and peripheral detection.

5. Clean Boot for Performance

  • Press Win + R, type msconfig
  • Under Services, check Hide all Microsoft services, then click Disable all
  • Under Startup, click Open Task Manager and disable all startup items
  • Reboot and test system speed

If performance improves, a third-party app or background service is likely causing the slowdown.

6. Run HP Battery Check

  • Use HP Smart or HP Support Assistant to run Battery Check
  • If it returns a Failure ID, you can request service or replacement

You’ll find this tool on HP’s battery support page

Let me know your exact HP model (e.g., Pavilion 15-ec2xxx or Envy x360 13-ay0xxx), and I can help locate the correct drivers or escalate through HP support channels.

You're clearly tuned into your system’s behavior—let’s get it running cool, connected, and charging properly again.
