HP 15-da3031ur

Hello!

I bought a laptop HP 15-da3031ur.

Installed Manjaro Linux on it.

Everything fine (except oem Realtek wi fi adapter driver, that is available for windows only...).

On some moments the keyboard and touchpad stops working.

I listened about this problem on the internet (from windows users, too).

My quetions:

do you know about this problem?

how are you going to fix it?

is it hardware problem or software?

what should i do - return laptop to the shop? or, can i fix it by myself with your help?

thanks

@andrew_filatov

I'm sorry, but HP only warranties their PCs for usage with the OS that comes preinstalled.

IF you replace that with a Linux distro, or add a Linux distro, then you assume full responsibility for maintaining that -- including solving any problems with booting the other OS and/or installing the other OS.

Modern PCs with UEFI, instead of the older BIOS, are especially difficult to install because you have to go into the UEFI settings and make several changes before you can even boot from a USB stick -- and we are unable to assist in that work.

Your best bet for support now is to contact the support forum of the distro you are using.

Good Luck

This laptop comes with FreeDOS OS, that don't boot from the factory.

And, as i said, this problem (keyboard and touchpad don't work) manifests inself even on factory installed os.

What i want to hear  - does the HP recognize the existence of this and trying to fix this bug?
