hi  is there any way of updating the tpm in a hp folio 1040 g2 from 1.2 to 2.0

i cant seem to find it anywhere

Hi, Stuart:

 

Unfortunately, your notebook is not on the list of those supported for the TPM 1.2 > TPM 2.0 firmware upgrade.

 

HP Desktops, Notebooks, and Workstations - HP TPM Configuration Utility With Windows 10 Anniversary ...

 

If you were wanting to do this for the upcoming W11 release, your notebook's processor does not meet the minimum requirements.

 

There is a ray of hope in reference to installing W11 on older notebooks.  I came across this article the other day.
