Hi @SuperMan22,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
You can transfer pictures from your iPhone to an HP laptop using several methods. Here are three common ways to do it.
Using a USB Cable and Windows File Explorer (Windows Only).
- Connect your iPhone to your HP laptop using a USB cable.
- Unlock your iPhone and tap "Trust" on the prompt that appears on your iPhone screen to establish a trusted connection with the laptop.
- Open "File Explorer" on your HP laptop (you can press the Windows key + E to open it).
- Under "This PC" or "My Computer" on the left-hand side, you should see your iPhone listed as a device.
- Click on your iPhone's name, and you'll see folders containing your photos.
- Navigate to the "DCIM" folder to find your photos.
- Select the photos you want to transfer, copy them (Ctrl+C), and paste them (Ctrl+V) into a folder on your laptop.
Using iCloud (Windows or Mac):
- Ensure you have iCloud for Windows installed on your HP laptop. You can download it from the official Apple website.
- On your iPhone, go to "Settings" > [Your Name] > iCloud > Photos, and turn on "iCloud Photos."
- On your HP laptop, open iCloud for Windows and sign in with your Apple ID.
- Ensure the "Photos" option is selected, and click on "Options" to choose the folder where you want to save your photos.
- Click "Apply," and your iPhone photos will be synced to your laptop.
Using Third-Party Software (e.g., iTunes Alternative):
- Download and install a third-party iPhone management software like "iMazing," "AnyTrans," or "iExplorer" on your HP laptop.
- Connect your iPhone to your laptop using a USB cable.
- Open the software and follow the on-screen instructions to access your iPhone's photos.
- Select the photos you want to transfer and use the software's transfer feature to copy them to your laptop.
Choose the method that suits you best and follow the steps to transfer your iPhone pictures to your HP laptop.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
