Hi,
I bought a HP laptop in the UK from the PC World store. It has a one year manufacturer warranty. I need it repaired under the warranty. When I click on contact support and enter my serial number, it says under the options :
"Did you buy your product at Carphone, Currys, Dixons or PC World? HP Warranty is not applicable. Please contact Dixons Carphone´s service organization “KnowHow” for technical support. Find out more."
However, on the right it says, 9 months manufacturer warranty remaining and the services stated include pickup by HP and shipping to customer by HP and others.
Is there any way I can get this solved as I need it repaired asap.

I recommend that you call HP and submit a support case under the warranty.

A Pavilion model notebook would fall under the 'Computing Products for Home' section.
