hp pavilion g6
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

hi, made a bootable pendrive and tried to install windows 10 on my hp pavilion G6. but whenever i go to bios and select the bootable USB, the screen doesn't responses after that. then i updated the bios but still the same issue. then i took out the harddrive from the notebook and format it with another laptop. now when i try to install windows 10 with the screen starts flickering in the installation process and i can't read anything or do anything. is there any way to install windows 10 on my notebook

note:- bios  doesn't show the option to disable secure boot or legacy support.

n one more thing screen only flickers in bios and windows 10 installation. otherwise it works perfectly

Hi @dogra420

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand you would like to install Win 10 OS on the PC. I'd be happy to assist you.

Did you make use of the HP Recovery partition (F11) or the recovery media?

If you don't have an HP Recovery media and have attempted reset using the windows troubleshooter or a retail copy of windows, you'll need to order a recovery media: Click here for steps.

Or you may also attempt to download the same using the steps on this link: click here

For details on how to perform a successful reset: click here

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
