HP Specter Pro x360 G
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After updating from Windows 7 Enterprise to Windows 10 Enterprise, I listed an unknown device in the Device Manager with the hardware ID. root \ ftvnic_a -. Unfortunately I can't find anything with this hardware name. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to right click on the device, select Uninstall.

Check the uninstall driver box if applicable, restart the PC and hope it doesn't come back.

Furthermore I have an HP3001pr USB3 replicator and despite the installation of the drivers no reaction from the OS - could it possibly be related to the above-mentioned topic?

It's possible.

When you google that device, you get nothing.

Unfortunately yes - I think the best option would be - shut down the notebook and reinstall a Windows 10 Prof
