updated window 10 and got accelerometerdll.DLL system error

Hi,

I have updated windows 10 and got the system error !

The code execution cannot proceed becuase accelerometerdll.DLL was not found. Rienstalling the program may fix this problem.

I have a zbook studio running windows 10 64bit

Please help ! I am in China on a job and need to back up all my photos from today !!

Don't know what to do ? I should not have updated while away on work !!!!

Hi,

Open windows Control Panel, open Programs and Features, right click the entry for HP 3D DriveGuard and select Uninstall.

When this has completed, restart the notebook.

When windows has reloaded, download and install the version of HP 3D DriveGuard on the following link.

My terrible China internet connection is taking projected hour to download the hp 3d drive guard !!

Can you please tell me what it does and if I can cary on working without it ?

Hi,

Yes, you can just work around this error and install the software later to correct the error.

The software monitors the accelerometer and if freefall is detected, sends an instruction to park the drive heads.
