Hi,

I've tried to install the Windows update 1809 several times. After the first reboot, the system 'hangs'. It doesn't matter if you try to upgrade or if you perform a clean install from USB.....after the first reboot, the system hangs.

Becasue I was not sure if I had installed software that could frustrate the Windows 1809 update, I formatted my disk and started all over again installing Windows 1809. Same result.

Then I formatted my disk again and installed 1803. This worked like a charme! Then I tried to upgrade this very clean installation of 1803 to 1809....guess what? After the first reboot (during the upgrade process) the system hung.

For the last time I started all over again with a clean install of 1803 and prevented the 1809 upgrade. Everything works now, after loosing two days of productivity and because of that not getting payed. What can I do to get this update installed so that future updates can also be installed automatically? Now I have to turn off Windows updates. I paid € 2.500,= for this laptop 6 montsh ago and hope for some HP service.
