Every Elitebook 800 G4 has a SIM card slot.
Check to make sure your notebook has the required WWAN adapter installed so you can use the SIM card.
That was an expensive option.
In order to connect to a cellular network, your notebook must have one of the following model WWAN adapters installed.
HP lt4120 LTE/EVDO/HSPA+ SnapdragonT X5 LTE Mobile Broadband Module
Huawei HP It4132, LTE/HSPA+ without GPS M.2
Fibocom HP hs3210 WW HSPA+ without GPS
You would find the WWAN adapter in the device manager under the Network Adapters device manager category.
If your notebook does not have one, then you can find the part numbers in chapter 3 of the service manual and see if you can buy one.
Make sure the antenna wires are in the compartment where the WWAN adapter installs.
That info can be found in chapter 5 of the service manual.
If there are no W11 drivers, you should be able to use the W10 drivers from the notebook's support page.
