Downloading Windows 11 is simply pulling down the files needed to create an installation ISO file or a USB installer stick.
That process does NOTHING to your PC except store some files locally. It does not changer ANY settings.
What you can also do is download an Update from Window 10 to Windows 11. Is that what you did?
Also, what you can also do is download a Windows Update which will change your Windows ll version. Is that what you did?
