I spilled some water onto my laptop i immediately soaked it up and put it upside down on a towel. the screen was still working for a bit but then suddenly went black, the led lights on the camera button and caps lock button are still on. when i plugged it into charge the led light to say it’s charging will not turn on. i’ve left it unplugged since and am leaving upside down for the time being.

any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you

To be safe, when the internals get wet, you need to power off the laptop and leave it powered off for two days minimum.

If you leave it powered on or power it on sooner than that, you risk shorting out something inside -- and if you do that, it is basically a dead machine.
