Hi,
Tap away F2 key as soon as you power on laptop. Do extensive hard drive and memory tests. Let it finish.
What is your laptop full model name, product number?
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2039298-1862169-16
Was it pre installed with Windows OS from factory?
Do you have recovery USB/DVD created after first setup of this notebook?
Have you backed up your important data from this laptop?
Regards

Your laptop: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/Compaq-Presario-CQ56-Notebook-PC-series/4247498/model/4300848/do...
It came with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit from factory.
Manual: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02657369
Are you not able to finish extensive hard drive and memory tests?
Have you created HP recovery discs before?
Have you backed up your data?
