Hi,

Do you mean shim, as in copper shim to place between CPU and heatsink?

Do you mean SIM card to make calls and connect to the internet?

 

In the first case, it would not make sense and have no purpose.

 

I do not believe your model has a WWAN module to accept SIM cards.
