I want to create a system recovery disk set in case I need to restore my computer some day. When searching for cd's I came across so many I'm not sure which one I need, ie. DVD-R, DVD Plus R, DVD+R DL? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi:
This is the latest support document I can find regarding the type of media needed to create recovery DVD's.
It appears you can use the following types...(DVD-R, DVD-R DL, DVD+R, or DVD+R DL)
HP recommends you use blank DVD+R discs. Use a name-brand label from a manufacturer you trust, as these recovery DVDs are very important.
