I understand you are your HP Pavilion X360 laptop is experiencing issues with its battery health. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:
- Check Battery Settings: First, check the battery settings on your laptop. In Windows 11, you can access battery settings by clicking on the battery icon in the system tray. Make sure the settings are configured correctly and that no abnormal settings are affecting the battery.
- Update Device Drivers: Ensure that all device drivers, especially those related to power management and battery, are up-to-date. You can do this by going to the Device Manager, locating the battery section, and checking for driver updates. Software and Drivers
- Run Battery Diagnostics: HP laptops often come with built-in battery diagnostic tools. You can run these diagnostics to check the health of your battery and identify any issues. Look for HP Support Assistant or any other diagnostic tool provided by HP on your laptop.
- Calibrate the Battery: Sometimes, calibrating the battery can help improve its performance and accuracy in reporting its charge level. To calibrate the battery, fully charge it, then allow it to discharge completely until the laptop shuts down. Finally, recharge the battery to 100%.
- Replace the Battery: If the battery health is severely degraded and none of the above steps help, you may need to consider replacing the battery. You can contact HP support or visit an authorized HP service center to get a genuine replacement battery for your laptop.
