I purchased a HP special edition Lance Armstrong laptop at Auction that has LINUX installed on it. I have re-Installed Windows XP pro 32 bit and I need the drivers to get the touchpad , the audio, and other things to work again. I have gone on the HP support site and it does not recognize the serial number , part number , or model number. So how do I find the drivers I need ?

Well, I found this:
HP Special Edition L2000 CTO Notebook PC Windows XP drivers
It has been awhile; I think I remember having used this site in the past.
The drivers show that they are downloaded from the HP ftp site (as opposed to having the drivers come from the website itself). Pulling the drivers from the HP ftp site is generally the "preferred" method, of course.
I downloaded (but did not open) the Quick Launch driver - it downloads from Firefox OK...

You are welcome.
This is a very “vintage” notebook. Smiling.
Any documents (user guide, how to, etc) you can find may be worth downloading when you see them lest they disappear later.
Have fun.
