Hello,

Welcome to the HP Support forum. Thank you for posting.

You need to enter this >> 43658984   as a reponse code.

You can enter it either:

- in the screen when it asks you for a BIOS password (e.g. this 43658984 is your BIOS password)

or

- directly enter it in the screen when you see the system disabled [52770342] , just begin typing directly 43658984 , no matter you don't see it on the screen. Eventually press [ENTER].

When you enter the response code, it should unlock your PC's BIOS and reset the security settings.

Hope this helps. Let me know if this works for you.

I reset my computer , entered an incorrect password 3 times, came to the "system disabled" screen and entered the password you provided and pressed enter. Nothing happened . Should I see any response from the computer ?

I can't test it myself now but as far as I can remember : no, it didn't post any reply. However, security settings should be default now and password should be gone.

If this did not work, please just enter the response code as your password instead of entering some password incorrect 3 times.

Did this work eventually ?  Can you enter BIOS without password ?
