@TOORIKADESINA,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

The part number for a replacement battery for the HP Pavilion 15-cw1xxx series is: L11119-855 "Battery pack (Primary) - 3-cell lithium-ion (Li-Ion), 11.55VDC, 3.6Ah, 41Wh HT03XL". Note: your current (old OEM) battery part number may be L56424-005 "BATTERY 3CELL 45Whr 3.9Ah LI HT03045XL-PL", but this battery is essentially not available for sale anywhere, and even less likely to be offered unused.

You can buy a quality HT03XL replacement battery online, such as this purchase example via Amazon-UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/HT03XL-L1119-855-Laptop-Battery-Pavilion/dp/B0C6MY4CH7/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2YLM....

@TOORIKADESINA,

To be honest, websites like the one you just referenced, are obscenely overpricing "original" batteries with no appreciable benefit over buying a quality second-source battery.

Look, do what you feel you need to do, but I am advising you to stay clear off sites that charge exorbitantly higher prices for essentially the same battery.

No one can guarantee if a replacement battery is going to last 'at least' four years.  That depends on various parameters, including usage, environmental issues, the quality of your charging voltage, etc.

Chances are though, based on personal experience, that batteries such as the one I pointed out should last at least 4 years.

Kind Regards,

@TOORIKADESINA,

You have three options:

1.) DIY: see this helpful YouTube instructional video: How to replace Hp Pavilion 15 Cw Battery.

2.) You know someone who you have confidence in who knows how to do the battery swap for you.

3.) Buy the p/n: L11119-855 replacement battery and then take it and your laptop to a cost-effective laptop service place in London.

As far as London, UK goes, here is a budget-friendly and reputable option:

CrC Repair:

  • Price: Battery replacement from £69.95. This is one of the most budget-friendly in-city options. Services start at that rate, though price may vary by model.

  • Coverage: All brands and laptop types.

  • Website: https://www.crcrepair.co.uk/laptop-repairs/.

Next Steps:

  1. Contact CrC Repair: Mention your laptop model/brand for an accurate quote.

  2. Book an appointment or arrange collection.

Kind Regards,
