Product: HP ENVY x360 - 15-bp101na
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

my laptop is using 50% memory (4/8GB) on hundreds of random background processes meaning it is always slow. I don't recognise these processes in Task manager. How to prevent this and make laptop only run the essential processes + intentional applications?
