hello !
I am Manmeet from Delhi, India.
I have two laptops one with windows 10 and the other one with windows 7.
windows 10 laptop specs: HP laptop (don't remember the model)
age - 2 years old
processor - Intel i3 6th generation
ram - 4gb
graphics - Intel (R) HD Graphics 610
windows 7 laptop specs: Samsung laptop (don't remember the model)
age - 8 years old
processor - Intel i3 2nd generation
ram - 2gb
graphics - Intel (R) HD graphics
My windows 10 has 4gb ram and Microsoft says windows 10 is faster than it's predecessor. but windows 7 is way faster than windows 10. I don't know why, even windows 10 has 2gb more ram than windows 7 still windows 7 is faster. even windows 7 has more programs and apps installed in it than windows 10. both have the same system requirements so why windows 7 is faster than its successor ? can you advice something to make my windows 10 faster ?

First of all, I would believe NOTHING that MS says regarding the performance gains from using any version of Windows. They are like used car salesmen -- they will say anything to get you to spend your money, and then when you don't get what you paid for, they will say "your mileage may vary".
Second, until I recently upgraded my primary desktop, the older one came with Win7 on it. I upgraded to Win8, Win8.1, and finally, to Win10 -- and noticed NO significant performance gains across these OS versions. If anything, Win7, tended to be the fastest of the three.

You can't compare apple with orange they are not the same. You have to compare 2 same configuration machines to have a valid result.
