envy M6-1105DX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm upgrading a friend's Envy M6-1105DX laptop to Windows 10 Pro.  Windows needs drivers to run the installer.  Does anyone have a set of base drivers I can use. HP says the product is no longer supported and lists no drivers.

The model never had support by HP for W10, so no W10 drivers exist.

It appears that HP has retired support for your PC since it is more than 10 years old.

That's why you can't find any drivers for it on the HP support site.

We are currently not allowed to post links to third party driver sites.

However, I don't see anything improper with letting you know that the DriversCollection.com website has the drivers for your PC.

I use the site all the time and the drivers are legitimate and virus free.

Just do a search for the HP ENVY m6-1105dx drivers and include in the search the Driverscollection website name and you will be able to find the drivers HP used to supply, up to W8.1.

If there are devices where the W8.1 drivers won't work, let me know and I will see if there are other options available.

Thanks Paul.  Unfortunately I had to replace the hard drive and didn't have recovery media for it.  I'll check out DriverCollection and see if there are some generic drivers I can use.
