Normally it automatically offers the free upgrade again if you had previously done it. You may have drivers/software that need to be updated first-either using HP Support Assistant or manually from your support page.

It should be offered through Windows Update. Like I mentioned you may have drivers/sotware that need updated before it rolls down to you. Have you checked manually or through using HP Support Assistant?

thanks for all ur help , link is not working for me i have run hp assistant several time on different days after har drive restore also need to upgrade IE microsoft /hp has always updated my software automatically
