windows 10 update 2004

Hello --- I  checked windows update today and, still I have the flag that the 2004 update is on hold for my laptop --- is it possible that its waiting for a HP update to let me update windows to build 2004?  Thanks

Probably NOT.

MS put the 20.04 update on hold when so many issues were reported with it.  So it is being prevented now due to blocks imposed by MS, not HP.  When these blocks will be removed, especially since version 20H2 came out yesterday, is unknown because MS is not telling anyone when this will happen.

Hello -- Thanks for the info ....  what is weird about this delay, is that this laptop is a few years old, when my other computers are much older and I have 2004 running on all of them
