windows 10 update something went wrong try to reopen settings later.

how can i fix it.

Saying merely "something went wrong" gives us nothing to work with.

 

Windows Updates, when they fail, generally write that information into the Windows Update history in an error log.  IF you then open Windows Update and look at the history, you can see those entries.

 

We have no way of diagnosing or repairing Windows Update errors, so you would have to use those error codes to do online searches to see what can be done.  Sometimes, Windows Update itself provides a link for more information on the error code.
