windows 11 version 2009

Hi Friends,

Please anyone help to soughtout the issue. Why registry key for windows 11 home 64bit shows version number 2009 instead of 21h2. The registry path is

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion.

But in system info it's shows 21h2  (10.0.22000.652). Why regsitry info showing wrong version.

Please kindly help anyone.

Can you give me the specifications of your laptop? It will help for easy diagnosis.

My laptop model number is hp 15-eq1167au, my friend's laptop model number is hp 15 eq2334au. Both laptops comes with preinstalled win10. But we manually download fresh win 11 through hp cloud recovery tool (but when check the original windows operating system hp cloud recovery shows only win 11).

Please give the solution. Thk u.

What was the reason why you installed Windows 11 at this time? i asked because most users including me installed Windows 11 on my Windows 10 system and I faced quite a number of challenges. Most users here complain that they had driver compatibility issues and some other challenges.

I feel at this point you should install Windows 10 till they fix Windows 11 and then you can upgrade at that time.

This is just how I feel.

Can you give me the link to download genuine windows 10 21h1,

is it 21h2 also windows 11 or windows 10?.

You may want to try and download it or buy a genuine copy of Windows 10
