Where can i find my drivers for installing win7 Im stuck in setup will not go no further setup needs required drivers  I think its usb 3.0 and raid storage drivers  for hp pavilion g7  model# g72017ci  serial #  5cd2172td3  win 7 home premium 64 bit

HP has retired support for the model series since it is more than 10 years old which is why you can't find any information on it on the HP support site.

 

The PC shouldn't need the Intel storage controller drivers to install W7.

 

If you are installing W7 from a USB flash drive, plug it into the notebook's USB2 port and you should be able to install Windows.

 

The specs indicate your notebook has two USB 3 ports and 1 USB 2 port.

 

W7 does not have native USB 3 driver support which is why it needs a driver when installing from a USB flash drive plugged into a USB 3 port.
