windows 7 recovery discs

The recovery media that I made on my laptop crashes at 39% and gioves this error code OXeOef000e which means rthe 5 discs I burnt are no good ( no surprise there its HP remember) Where do I  get some more ? I've been on the HP website and nowhere can I see the order recover discs they mention. Any real help would be apptreciated. Thanks

If you can still read all 25 characters of the W7 product key on your notebook's case, make your own W7 installation media as follows...

Click on the Windows ISO Downloader.exe link below to download the tool to create the W7 ISO file download.

This link downloads a file that accesses the Microsoft Techbench W7 ISO files and generates the ISO file download you need.

Select the Windows COEM ISO file download for the version of W7 the product key is good for.

I have zipped up and attached the Microsoft utility below, that will allow you to either put the file on a USB flash drive or DVD, or you can use a different free utility such as Rufus.

Then you can install the drivers and available software from the PC's support page...

They must be in the process of updating the tool or something.

I have an older version I saved, and it appears to work.

If you let me know what language you need and what version you need (ie W7 Home Premium 64 bit, I can generate a link for you to download the file, which will be good for up to 24 hours.
