I need the windows product key - I have to reinstall OS due to boot corruption to activate i need windows 10 product key

Hi:

 

If your notebook came with Windows from HP, the product key is in the BIOS.

 

You don't need it to reinstall W10.

 

Your notebook should also be supported by the HP Cloud Recovery Client Utility which you can use to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

 

Here is the link to that utility and I have attached the instructions for use below.

 

This package provides the Cloud Recovery Client for supported computer models running a supported operating system. This Client Utility enables users to download the Recovery Kit from the cloud
