without having to pay a fee, can you please tell me why i keep getting a black box on my screen that says: C:\Windows\system32\cmd.EXE?

Probably you played around with your machine and getting that. The quick way is to re-install Windows and KEEP all user data/files and program. You can download ISO file (Windows 10 or 11) from Microsoft then mount ISO file and run setup. All you have to do is remember to KEEP things as mentioned above.

thank you for your input, but my previous request did not post all of my  question........the black box that i am getting is:  C:\Windows\system32\cmd.EXE    what is this about?  thanks in advance!
