I'm testing the new BIOS version T77 01.08.20 for x360 830 G8. I installed it on 3 devices and all have the same behavior.
BIOS installation works without any issue but after finish the device starts up shows the wolf security icon for couple of seconds and then restarts again.
Even after 2 hours the same behavior. I'm not able to enter the BIOS or the diagnostic menu.
I had to remove power cable and turn it off for 2 minute and then it started up normally.
If I roll back to T77 01.06.02 then I don't have this issue after installation. Any one having similar issues?

Hello
the "wolf security" you see at power-on is just a new logo added to newer BIOS versions of most recent computer models.
what exactly you mean with "roll back" to 01.06.02. is this version the one currentlry installed or do you roll back from version .01.07.03 or 01.08.00 ?
do you know the EFI partion size and how much free space is left ? BIOS update can't not happens if there is not enough space left in EFI partition.
Do you know if in BIOS setting are there some settings which can prevent BIOS update, such as "Lock BIOS Version" enabled ?
Did you try to update from 01.06.02 to 01.07.03 ?
bye

Hi
Sorry I didn't explain it correct.
01.06.02 is the current version installed and I did the upgrade direct to 01.08.20 which causes this issue.
Then I rolled back to 01.06.02 without any issues. Don't know the exact EFI size but BIOS has been installed as I can confirm it afterwards with the login.
The notebooks starts up and shows the "Executing Startup Delay" message at the bottom and the wolf security icon. This takes about 5 seconds and then the device reboots again with the same. The 5s delay is set in our bios settings.
It will then doing it forever if I not turn it off. By removing power cable, wait for couple of minutes and then turn it on the device works normally. I can login to Windows and access the BIOS menu. Both show me the new Version 01.08.20 is installed.
I did now from 01.06.02 to 01.07.03 which works without issues. Will try now from 01.06.02 to 01.08.00.
