Ensure your Chromebook has all the updates

If the issue persists try a Power wash and check if the issue persists

Hi thank you once again.I tried recovery and the camera still didn't work.I got on to customer support and  as the warranty ran out in January I had to pay £34.99.They were unable to fix it over the phone and reckon it is something physical inside so they have to take it in for repair.I will keep you posted but with the situation it may be some time. Thanks again for taking the time to help.
