HP Notebook 15 bs033nk i5 7200
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everybody

I have this HP Notebook - 15 - bs033nk with i5-7200 processor and running under Windows 10 Enterprise 64 bits.

It got slowed down drastically. When I looked up under  About System I found Total RAM: 4Go and Usable RAM: 1.93 Go.

I couldn't get to the configurations options of the graphics cards wether through BIOS or any other way.

The questions I have are: is it a hardware issue, or a graphic card issue or an OS issue ?

Help is welcome

Thanks

@freddy5e Greetings from the HP Community!

The memory module is system manager, certain background services may be using the memory modules which is why you cannot use the entire memory,

That said, there are a few steps you can perform to make the most of what you can use:

  • Open 'run'
  • Type 'MSCONFIG'
  • Click on boot menu
  • Click Advanced
  • Then on maximum memory increase it to its maximumvalue.
  • Restart.

Keep us posted,
