The fastest speed your notebook's AMD Ryzen™ 5 3550H processor can run the memory at is 2400 MHz.

There's nothing you can do to make the 3200 MHz memory run at 3200 MHz.

You may as well install the 8 GB of 2666 MHz memory back in and have 16 GB of memory.

Unfortunately, I can't help you with that problem because it was an intentional design.

Something to do with Microsoft Play Ready.

HP released an info document when the model series first came out explaining why only 5.9 GB of 8 GB of memory is only available, and that document is no longer available.

The document also included the list of PCs affected, and the 15-ec0xxx model series was on the list.

If you do a search on the forum 'Only 5.9 GB of 8 GB available' you should find many posts about this.
