I own a HP ENVY 17t-j100 Leap Motion QE CTO Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR) and Win 10 x64 says that 3D DriveGuard is no longer comptible with my OS. I checked HP's "software and driver" page and I had the latest version installed for my notebook (6.0.28.1 Rev.A). Since this version is incompatible with my OS, I have uninstalled it.
Please update 3D DriveGuard for the latest release of Win 10 x64 on HP ENVY 17t-j100 Leap Motion QE CTO Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR).

Hi:
This is the latest version that should work with W10...
TITLE: HP 3D DriveGuard Software
VERSION: 6.0.44.1 REV: A PASS: 1
October 11, 2017
DESCRIPTION:
This package provides the HP 3D Driveguard Software (HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection) for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. The HP 3D Driveguard Software protects the hard drive by parking the heads if the notebook is accidentally dropped, or is abruptly impacted by another object.

This version appears to work fine. HP's website should be updated to indicate that this is the latest version to be used with my notebook though.

Glad that worked.
Updating the driver on your notebook's support page... there is nothing I can do about that, since I do not work for, or represent HP.
You can contact the HP executive team at the link below, and request that they update the driver to a working version on the HP ENVY 17t-j100 Leap Motion QE CTO Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR) W10 driver page.
