3d driveguard not working

Have been trying to get my Driveguard to work since it no longer worked after windows update version 1803 was installed.  Can anybody help me with a fix for my problem.

Thank you Paul for your reply but it does not seem to work.  I have notice though the file is only 572KB in size and the previous softpaqs I`ve used to cure the same problem in earlier version of windows 10 have been a great deal larger.  Could it be I`m doing something wrong with this one.  I down loaded the link as I`ve always done and followed the instructions to the end and seems to finish at the point where it asked for the Location to store it.

That's the problem.

As the newer editions of W10 rolled out they kept breaking the 3D driveguard driver updates.

The driver now only includes the file to actually install the hardware.

I would not take a chance on bumping or dropping the notebook because even with the device installed, without the software to trigger the accelerometer, I doubt it will work.

The only other suggestion I can offer would be to try the slightly older version and see if that works.
