435 programmable wireless keypad

Hi.

I just bought the 435 Programmable wireless keypad.

It seemed the perfect for my workflow.

However... It seems like i can not use the macro buttons as ctrl, alt  or shift or a combo of these...?

This is really disappointing... These combined with the numpad keys is all i really need, and that is the reason i bought this product.

Is there a workaround for me? Otherwise i think i will return it, sadly...

best regards

Niel

Hi @Niel-H,

Welcome to the HP support community.

To clarify, the macro functionality on the HP 435 is primarily designed for assigning custom actions or shortcuts rather than simulating modifier keys like Ctrl, Alt, or Shift, or combinations involving these keys. Unfortunately, this limitation means it may not support the kind of advanced keybindings you're looking for.

Please help us with your HP unit serial number or the product number in a private message for further assistance.
