hello i want to buy hp laptop but i want to know Whichever is newer and whichever is better 

hp 840 g1 and hp 850 g1 which one is the best and the newer and the better thanks in advance

Hi:

 

The only difference between the two models is the display size.

 

The 840 has a 14" display and the 850 has a 15.6" display.

 

So it is up to you whether or not you want a smaller and lighter notebook with less display size or the larger one.

 

The model generations are noted by the G1, G2, G3, G4...

 

The newest model Elitebook 8x0 is the G4.
