HPDC Service 4.8.67.0  will not install   Downloads opens, permissions granted, then nothing.  Repeated popups saying update installation is required.

Hi @karenploransky,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the installation issue.

  • Check system requirements: Verify that your computer meets the minimum system requirements for HPDC Service 4.8.67.0. Ensure that your operating system is supported and that you have sufficient disk space and memory.
  • Disable security software: Temporarily disable any antivirus or firewall software on your computer. Sometimes, security software can interfere with the installation process. After disabling the security software, attempt the installation again.
  • Run as administrator: Right-click on the installation file and select "Run as administrator." This will provide the necessary permissions to install the software correctly.
  • Clean boot: Perform a clean boot of your system to eliminate any conflicts caused by other programs or services running in the background. To do this, follow the instructions specific to your operating system (e.g., Windows or macOS).
  • Download a fresh copy: If you've been using the same installation file repeatedly, it's possible that the file is corrupted. Try downloading a fresh copy of HPDC Service 4.8.67.0 from a reliable source and attempt the installation with the new file.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
