If you're asking about a replacement drive for that Compaq, according to the HP specs I could find, it used an old PATA drive -- and those have two rows of tiny brass PINS on the back, instead of the more recent plastic strip with connectors.

Problem is, drive manufacturers stopped making those drives some years back -- and the only source I've been able to find is the local Microcenter store which sometimes sells the old, small, refurbished drives.
