Hi @Strikerv2,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems like you're looking for advanced settings on your OMEN by HP - 17 laptop, but you're unable to find them. Unfortunately, without specific details about the exact settings you're trying to access, I can provide some general guidance on where you might find advanced settings on a Windows-based laptop.
BIOS/UEFI Settings:
- Reboot your laptop and, during the boot process, press the designated key to enter the BIOS/UEFI settings. This key is usually displayed on the screen during startup and is commonly one of the function keys (e.g., F1, F2, F10, or Del).
Windows Power Options:
- Navigate to the Windows Control Panel or Settings.
- Go to "Power Options" and select "Change plan settings" for your current power plan.
- Click on "Change advanced power settings" to access advanced power options.
Graphics Settings:
- If you are looking for advanced graphics settings, you may find them in the graphics control panel. For NVIDIA graphics, you can access the NVIDIA Control Panel, and for AMD graphics, you can use the AMD Radeon Settings.
HP Command Center:
- OMEN laptops often come with the HP Command Center software. Check if you have this installed, and it might have advanced settings for performance, cooling, and lighting.
Update Drivers:
- Ensure that your laptop's drivers, including graphics drivers, are up-to-date. Sometimes, driver updates can unlock additional settings or improve performance.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
