Microsoft Windows 11

Hello everyone. I have a friend who isn't very technologically inclined, so I am helping her solve this issue. She wants to be able to play Minecraft with forge mods installed. The base game works perfectly fine, but upon launching Forge, the game immediately crashes with no mods installed giving "Exit Code 1." I have narrowed it down to HP's graphics driver. I attempted to install AMD Radeon software, and this solved the issue, but this caused the microphone to disappear from the entire system (Including the device manager) and the volume was set to 100% always. After re-setting the PC and installing the HP driver back this fixed the issue, but Minecraft still crashes. Has anyone had this issue? It's an HP 15.6" laptop with AMD Ryzen 5 5500U, Radeon Graphics, and 16GB of memory.
