Pavilion 15-an050nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Ten days ago after I got an windows 10 x64 Version 1703 (64bit Home) update KB4032188 I receive a constant warning about incompadibility between the recent windows 10 updated version and the accelerometer application. The computer model is a Pavilion Starwars Edition (15-an050nd). Does anyone have a potential solution about this issues?

Thank you in advance

Hi:

See if this works...

Open the Windows Control Panel, select Programs and Features, right click the entry for the HP 3D DriveGuard, and select Uninstall.

When this has completed, restart the notebook.

When you are at the Windows desktop, download and install this version of HP 3D DriveGuard at the link below, and restart the PC.

Since the OP specified a model, will this solution work with all HP models (a direct link to the exe file removes all context or explanation in this regard) ? I have the ENVY x360 m6-aq105dx and have the same incompatibility issue...

Hi, @Ulmo

This discussion is 'ancient history' as far as the latest 3D driveguard issue and the W10 FCU is concerned.

This is now the latest fix available...Should work on any model PC that has the newest version of the HP Mobile Data Protection System hardware (which has a hardware ID of ACPI\HPQ6007).
