Hi,
AccelerometerSt.exe -Application error coming up at start-up.
I followed advise to uninstall, restart, then re-install, but hit a problem with the re-installing. - error 1722- " a programme run as part of the setup did not finish as expected.."
When I checked the apps list - I found that the app [ HP 3D Drive Guard ] was there -- and dated as if only just installed .
-- However on start-up again the same error message appeared.
Help if you can please.
Especially as when googled, a few dire warnings about it cropped up !
Thanks

Hello GBL84,
I tried your advice, but the error message kept coming up anyway.
I think it was the link address, because I did the same thing again *, but used the link in the next post's message - - and so far so good.
( * ie the same advice was given but the link to re-install Driveguard was different )
Maybe it'an out of date link ? - or only works with some systems ?
But thanks for responding.
Kachin
