Can I replace the 45W USB -C adapter/charger that came with my laptop with a more powerful 65W one with a round connector without damaging the laptop? I found one that matches my size of connector and specifications (19.5V 3.33A) on Amazon and Best Buy ,Ebay,Newegg.ca ,Canada Computer and on other places. My laptop has this 4.5mm x 3.0mm round connector for standart HP rond connector. HP support couldn't answer my question definitively. HP 15.6 inch Laptop model 15-fd2017ca s/n1H8549088R, product ID D11DRUA#ABL.Please give me an answer!

According to the parts list for the model series, you don't need a 65W adapter, 45W is what the notebook uses.

The non-USB-C power adapter part number and description is:

741727-001   Smart AC power adapter (45 watt) - 4.5mm barrel connector, non-power factor correcting (NPFC) - Requires 3-wire AC power cord with C5 connector

The power cord that goes from the wall socket to the adapter is sold separately.

L19367-001   Power cord - C5 connector, 1.0m long, STK Conv (North America)

What I recommend you do is to go on eBay, do a search by the HP power adapter part number and find a new or used but tested and working genuine HP power adapter.

The used ones normally come with the power cord included.

When I connect the Hub (I can't connect to the internet without it because the laptop doesn't have a connector RJ45), a message appears on the monitor screen telling me to use a more powerful charger. The charger included was a 45-watt one (USB-C connection) . I bought a Charger Compatible with HP Laptop Computer 65W  Smart Blue Tip Power Adapter

Connector type

4.5 x 3.0mm Blue tip

 on Amazon, https://www.amazon.ca/Charger-Laptop-Computer-Smart-Adapter/dp/B089T1SX32?th=1

but it says "OUTPUT 19.5V, while the back of the laptop says INPUT 15 V . Is it safe to charge a laptop with this charger?

Unfortunately, that I wouldn't know.
