I got a new HP Pavilion Laptop 15-eh1108ua, model 4A7N4EA. OS: Windows 10 (x64) with the latest updates.
In HP Battery Check tool, I have suggestion to turn on Active Battery Optimizer. When I press “Activate Battery Optimizer” button, my default browser pops up with a link opened. The link points to HP Accessories shop and that is it. The Adaptive Battery Optimizer status remains “Enabled/Not Active”.
I have read a dozen threads here on the similar issue with no proven solutions. How exactly should this feature be activated. I don’t need to have the battery fully charged all the time. I plan to run on A/C adapter most of the time.
