HP Spectre x360 15-df0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought this laptop in November exclusively to use it with the Adobe software to process my photos. It was rated as a good device and the retailer told me it was going to be perfect for my purpose.  When I try to work with either one of those programmes the system quits. It gets frozen for several minutes and gives me a blue screen: Watchdog violation or Driver power state failure.  I disabled the graphics in all of those programmes as Adobe advised but still, the laptop keeps quitting.  WiFi gets disconnected from time to time and it's annoying.       I hardly use my Spectre because I am still attached to my Envy, but when I have to work on my new computer the experience isn't good.  Any suggestions, please?

What is your HP Spectre x360 15-df0xxx  ? For example HP Spectre x360 - 15-df0007tx, its specs

The above machine should be ok to run mentioned Adobe products. My suggestion is to perform a fresh install Windows 10 using the following ISO file from following link

     https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

(a) Create ISO file using above instructions and save on your computer

(b) Mount ISO file as a DVD and run Setup from DVD,

(c) Tick keep user files and programs,

(d) Run Windows updates few times (say 10 mins one after the other) to update drivers

At the end, one or 2 missing drivers, go yo HP support site to update manually

Regards.
