I keep trying to download Popcorn Time to my laptop and I keep getting a message that states 'Turn on Chrome OS Developer Mode to install apps from sources other than the Play Store'. How do I do this?

You should direct this question to Google and Chrome OS.

Why?  Because the results of changing the OS mode may include unexpected consequences.

For example, from what I have read, you can break stuff - important stuff.

I don't have Chrome OS - the following is one of the many articles that I found in a quick check to answer the question:

Everything You Need to Know About Chromebook Developer Mode

Were I you, I would take some time to find out more (much more) about this option before applying it.
