I ordered and paid for an HP Envy laptop on December 10, 2020. Along with that, I paid for expedited shipping and the 3 year No Risk Care Pack. The laptop did not arrive on time, and I was notified in late December that the revised shipping date was 1/22/2021. Ultimately, my computer was shipped on 1/29/2021 - and the factory warranty shows as starting on that date. Should my three-year care pack warranty also have started on that date (and have lasted until 1/28/2024)?
I am making application for refund now since the warranty was not used. I have documentation of the delay notification from HP, shipping paperwork, and online record of the start of the actual factory warranty. I want to be sure I go about this correctly to be refunded. I don't want to be penalized ~7 weeks of coverage because of HP's delays back in 2020.
Thank you. JBR
