Assign Middle Mouse to a side Button on HP Pen

It's 2025, and I still cannot find support for assigning "middle mouse button" to a side button on the HP pen. The myHP software offers very limited assignable shortcuts and keys for the pen buttons, and "Scroll" does not work as a middle mouse button should. Please add this, or better yet add a custom input option.
